This series contains a variety of records documenting some of the activities of the Divinity School between 1873 and 1908. Most significant are the three faculty meeting notebooks, which contain handwritten notes about meetings, grades, student assessments, and other topics. The hymnbook is titled "Best Hymns," by Elisha A. Hoffman, and was used by the students of the divinity school.
Nichols Echo, vol. 1, 1877
This series contains issues of the school newspaper, first titled the "Nichols Echo," then changed to "Latin School Echo" sometime after 1886. The publication for each year is given a volume and an issue number, however, only one issue was apparently published each year.

This series contains correspondence and memoranda, inauguration materials, speeches, and other files pertaining to the administration of Bates College. The files of President Reynolds' inauguration include event programs and descriptions, and congratulatory materials from the presidents and administrators of other colleges and universities. Several large-sized inauguration greetings can be found in the box labeled "CA 02 Oversize 1."
