June-Nov. 2003
Scope and Content Note
Correspondence between John Tagliabue and his sister, Erica Dorf. The researcher should note that Tagliabue often responded to correspondence from his sister on the actual received letter. Occasionaly, John Tagliabue sent the actual letter or copy of a letter from a third party to his sister with additional written response. Some correspondence was written on the back of flyers or other unrelated documents including envelopes. Where possible, dual correspondence has been photocopied and placed in appropriate subject folders. The researcher should also note that Tagliabue often included several letters within one mailing, thus much of his correspondence to his sister is attached in groupings with several correspondence dates in a batch that actually constitute one letter.
