Scope and Content Note

The Student-Faculty Committee on Investments in South Africa was established by President T. Hedley Reynolds. The purpose of the committee was to gather information about apartheid and American corporate interests in South Africa; to consider investor actions taken or proposed by other institutions and individuals; and to recommend a moral course of action for the College to take with its investments in corporations doing business in South Africa.
