Scope and Content Note
This series contains material chronicling the graduating classes of the College beginning with the Maine State Seminary class of 1867. Material includes class letters, many of which are published as booklets or newsletters, and individual members' records, containing personal information about alumni and their families. Other material includes correspondence from class secretaries concerning reunion planning and class giving as well as post-reunion accounts. Additional material includes photographs, scrapbooks, photo albums and slides, chronicling reunions and class history, as well as programs for some events during their years at Bates, such as freshman and sophomore declamations and debates.
