From the Collection:

The collection contains photographs of Norman Ross, his wife Marjorie Pillsbury Ross, family members and friends including many from the Bates College community. Contains photographs chronicling Norman's years following high school including his service with the Student Army Training Corps and his participation in several sports as a Bates College student. Also includes numerous informal photographs of and with family and friends, including a trip to Mt. Katahdin, hunting trips, snowshoeing, outings to the beach, dinners and celebratory events such as birthdays, anniversaries and Norman's honorary degree from Bates; many of the photographs are unidentified. Other material includes memorial tributes to several Bates alumni, correspondence and news clippings concerning various events involving family, friends and the College.

There is also one oversized box (Box 4) containing larger photos of various subjects, along with some photocopies of various images.
