Artist's conk; found on BOC climb of Saddleback Mtn.; inscription on conk "Saddleback Mtn. Appalachian Trail October 6, 1940;" conk is autographed by Life Magazine photographers Eliot Elisofon and Joe Reshower who were covering the climb for the magazine; conk was donated by Gilbert Center, class of 1943, on Feb. 8, 1970; accompanied by news clipping and note.
