Scope and Content Note From the Collection: More than 200 letters written by Mabel Simmons, while a student at Bates College to her family in Stoughton, Massachusetts. These letters span Simmons' academic student years at Bates from the fall of 1919, when she entered as a freshman, to the spring of 1923 when she graduated.
