Scope and Content Note From the Series:

This series contains correspondence and memoranda, inauguration materials, speeches, and other files pertaining to the administration of Bates College. The files of President Reynolds' inauguration include event programs and descriptions, and congratulatory materials from the presidents and administrators of other colleges and universities. Several large-sized inauguration greetings can be found in the box labeled "CA 02 Oversize 1."

Scope and Content Note From the Series: Contains correspondence, memoranda, brochures, and reports. This series covers a variety of financial and campus matters. Many of the folders contain material on fundraising, scholarships and foundations, and the college's financial assets. Included in this group are the 'General Education Board' folder, which covers that groups financial appropriations to Bates, and the 'Marts and Lundy Report,' a study of the college's financial status and fundraising prospects.
