The files in this subseries belonged to staff members in Muskie's Washington sentate office and senate committees. These sets of files each encompassed more than a single congressional session, and so were not easily integrated into series V.A. Washington senate office staffers represented in this subseries include Jim Case, Peter N. Kyrose, Charles Micoleau, Don Nicoll and Maynard Toll.

This subseries also includes files from staffers on the Senate Public Works Committee Special Subcommittee on Air and Water Pollution (Leon G. Billings and Karl Braithwaite), and the Senate Budget Committee (John McEvoy).
