Bates Blue Book, 1945 - 1946

 File — Box: 2
Identifier: CA0201/03.2

Scope and Content Note

From the Sub-Series:

The Bates Blue Book was a handbook issued to students which contained the rules and regulations -- academic as well as social -- of the college. It was first issued in 1915 as the Regulations for the Administration of Bates College with a browncover. With the 1927-28 issue, the cover was changed to a blue one, and in 1930 the booklet was retitled as the Bates Blue Book, which was retained for the remained of its published history. Following the 1969-1970 academic year, the information contained in the Blue Book was published as the Student Handbook by the Dean of Students office (see CA 04.01 for copies of these issues). Also included in this subseries are undated copies of Bates College General Regulations, which possibly predate the Regulations for the Administration of Bates College.
