This series contains pollution, odor, and related studies of other rivers beyond the Androscoggin, and includes information about rivers in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Maine. Two studies related to pollution of the Presumpscot River were co-authored by Lawrance; the remainder were presumably collected by him for reference purposes.
