This series contains photocopies and typescript copies of some of Hartley's correspondence. Correspondents include Gertrude Stein, Gertrude Tiemer, and Hartley's favorite niece, Norma Berger.
Hartley's letters with Berger are extensive and cover the period from 1904 to 1947. In his letters, Hartley discusses his health, art, travel, and other personal and professional matters.
