Scope and Content Note
This series includes photographs and negatives of Festival events and programs, including many candid shots of ballet, modern, African and other dance classes. There are also images of rehearsals and some publicity images taken by Festival staff and used in Festival publications. For publicity photographs of individual performers taken by professional photographers, which are typically sent prior to an artist performing or teaching along with press kits, see Series III: Faculty and Creative Personnel.
