Series VIII: Photographs, ca. 1920s-2010s
Scope and Contents
This series contains photographs documenting Frank Glazer's personal life and professional career. Groups of photos include images of family and friends, promotional photos, and professional images including shots of various ensembles, concert images, colleagues, and other events. Also included are images (including duplicates) from Glazer's pre-war European travels and his World War II service. Photographers (of professional images) include Louis Ouzer, Ilse Bing, Bertrand Miles, and Mia Glazer, among others.
The images are a mix of color and black-and-white photographs, with some color photocopies as well. The images are not sorted in each folder, and there may be duplication across different folders.

Language of Materials
Mostly English, but also some French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, and Russian, among others.
Access Restrictions
Most of the collection is open for research. At this writing, some series (I and VIII) are not fully processed and are not yet open to research; please contact Archives staff if unsure of the availability of any part of this collection.
