Station memoranda and orders, 1943 - 1944

This series consists of materials created by and/or saved by Richard Ordeman, a Bates V-12 student from 1943 to 1944. Navy V-12 program materials includes a rules manual, station memoranda and orders, and ephemera such as demerits and other notices. Also included is a letter from Harry Rowe informing new V-12 students of various administrative responsibilities and schedules upon their arrival at Bates. Personal material includes tests and papers, photographs and negatives, recollections of a trip to Mt. Washington, and flyers for various campus events such as dances. This series provides a window into the activities of V-12 students that is not captured by other series that are more campus administration-based.
