Programs, 1951-2014
Scope and Content note
Series contains performance programs for the Bates Modern Dance Club from 1969 to 2014, and is very likely complete through 2004. The "non-Bates" folders contain programs for dances in Maine and New England, as well as several older ones of particular note: Ted Shawn and Ruth St. Denis at the American Museum of Natural History (1952); an Adelphi College performance from 1952; and programs from the Strand Theatre and Sadler's Wells in London, and the Teatro Calderon in Madrid. (Plus a bullfighting program from the Plaza de Toros de Madrid).

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, with the exception of a few folders were noted as [Restricted], which are closed to access at this time. Some slides and videos are of non-Bates dance companies, and while they can be viewed by researchers, copies of these materials cannot be provided except with written permission by the creator(s).
