Abstract
David Marks was a Freewill Baptist minister. The collection consists of his notes pertaining to church services in Portsmouth, N.H. (1835); Rochester, N.Y, (1837); and Oberlin, Ohio (1844-45). Marks comments on lectures and sermons delivered by Amos Sutton, a Baptist missionary; Asa Mahan, first President of Oberlin Collegiate Institute; and Charles Finney, professor of theology at Oberlin.
